Owen Dalby has been building something here — season by season, residency by residency — and this November concert marks the first formal outing of what may become one of Noe Music's defining artistic projects: a string quartet anchored by Owen alongside some of the finest collaborators in the Bay Area and beyond. This is the magic of string quartet as laboratory, as social form, as metaphor for what this community does best: listen deeply to one another and make something that none of us could make alone.
